Are you a Team Leader with previous experience of setting and operating CNC Laser Machines? I am working with a client in Sandbach who are recruiting x2 Team Leaders to run the Laser department on either a mornings or afternoons shift. As a Team Leader you must have proven experience on Laser machines as well as the ability to motivate, lead and support a small team in a fast paced environment.
This is a weekly paid permanent position.
Hours and salary:
- Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm (shorter day on a Friday) £38,000 - £43,000
- Or Monday to Friday, 2pm - 10pm (shorter day on a Friday) £42,500 - £47,800
The Role:
- Mentoring, managing, leading and supporting a small team of Laser Operators whilst still being hands on setting and operating CNC Laser machines.
Experience:
- Proven experience of setting and operating Trumpf CNC Laser Machines - essential
- Strong understanding of laser cutting parameters, materials and nesting software
- Confident in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Experience of basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of a steel fabrication and production workflow
- Lead a team previously
