Maintenance Electrical Mechanical Engineer
Monday - Thursday NO WEEKENDS
£56,000 plus benefits
Required: an experienced Electrical Mechanical Engineer looking for a better work-life balance while staying hands-on in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is your opportunity to join a thriving FMCG manufacturing site where your skills keep production running at peak performance.
As part of our engineering team, you will:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment
- Support high-speed production and packaging lines
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Knowledge & understanding of PLCs is beneficial
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in an FMCG or high-speed manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Knowledge of PLC systems (desirable)
- Any recognised engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3 / HNC / equivalent)
- Proactive, reliable, and team-oriented mindset
