Are you a Skilled Machinist with experience of operating both CNC and manual machines (lathes and millers) as well as strong knowledge of metal working? Are you based locally to Burton on Trent and looking for a new role? This position works Monday to Friday days and offers a salary of £36K for the right candidate. If you are interested in this role, please APPLY NOW via the job board The Role: Reporting into the Production Lead, you will be accurately machining components and sub assemblies to tolerances and recognised standards Operating CNC and manual machines including; lathes, millers Practical Metrology of machines components both in metric and imperial Metal working – marking out, cutting, folding, sheet metal and plate bending rolls, drilling etc Suitable Candidate: Experienced Machinist / Mechanical Fitter Previous experience of using both manual and CNC lathes and millers Able to read and understand technical drawings Work alone and within a team environment Mentor lower level team members Build close relationships internally Fast learner and willing to learn new ways of working and methodologies Ability to plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of work Company benefits include: Pension scheme – about auto enrolment which increases in % with age Life assurance Income protection scheme Employee assistant programme (24/7 free support) Healthcare
