Engineering Team Leader – Food Production (Hands-On Role) Nights 4 on 4 off Nights £56,000 Are you a hands-on Engineering Team Leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment? We\’re looking for a proactive leader to ensure our site runs smoothly and efficiently – keeping machines turning, production on track, and standards high. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the engineering team on shift, ensuring all equipment is maintained and running efficiently. Work closely with production and hygiene teams to minimise downtime and maintain high safety and quality standards. Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and ensure timely completion. Support and deliver effective handover between shifts to maintain consistent performance. Promote and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, reliability, and safety. About You A qualified engineer (mechanical / electrical bias preferred) with experience in a food, FMCG, or manufacturing environment. Confident leading from the front, you\’re hands-on, visible, and solutions-focused. Strong communicator with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. Familiar with hygiene standards, health & safety regulations, and PPM systems.
