Are you an Engineering Technician looking for a new role? You will be responsible for maintaining production equipment through a combination of planned preventative maintenance and rapid breakdown response. Working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in improving reliability, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement projects across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out PPMs on mechanical and electrical systems
- Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise production impact
- Fault-find and perform root cause analysis on complex machinery
- Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Work safely at all times in line with company and H&S standards
Skills & Experience:
- Qualified in Electrical Engineering (NVQ Level 3, HNC, Apprenticeship, or equivalent)
- Experience in a manufacturing or food environment
- Strong multi-skilled background (mechanical, electrical, controls)
- Knowledge of PPMs, fault diagnostics, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and drives
- Proactive team player with a continuous improvement mindset
