Shift: 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights)

Salary - £51,750 per annum

Are you an Engineering Technician looking for a new role? You will be responsible for maintaining production equipment through a combination of planned preventative maintenance and rapid breakdown response. Working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in improving reliability, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement projects across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out PPMs on mechanical and electrical systems
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise production impact
  • Fault-find and perform root cause analysis on complex machinery
  • Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Work safely at all times in line with company and H&S standards

Skills & Experience:

  • Qualified in Electrical Engineering (NVQ Level 3, HNC, Apprenticeship, or equivalent)
  • Experience in a manufacturing or food environment
  • Strong multi-skilled background (mechanical, electrical, controls)
  • Knowledge of PPMs, fault diagnostics, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and drives
  • Proactive team player with a continuous improvement mindset
