Are you a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for an opportunity to work within a very busy, fast paced manufacturing environment? If so, this could be the ideal role for you. Ideal Engineers will have worked within the food and drinks sector, HOWEVER this isn’t an essential requirement, which means it could be the perfect chance to get to work in one of the biggest manufacturing industries in the UK!
Essential requirements are that you have worked within ANY form of manufacturing and have the NVQ3 apprentice trained qualifications. Electrically biased Engineers will be working as part of an established team of Engineers, with various disciplines working on reactive maintenance activities, planned preventative activities and get the chance to be part of small projects to help the site run as efficiently as possible.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- To carry out ad hoc projects when required
- To carry out maintenance and repairs to all equipment and KIT when required
- To liaise directly with production to ensure effective running of the plant
- To make recommendations on how to make the plant run more efficiently
- To work closely with contractors to use necessary company procedures
- To play an active part in training and self-development
