Days Engineering Team Leader
Food Manufacturing Location: Banbury Shift Pattern: Saturday (Days) Salary
- £56,021 per annum We are currently recruiting for an experienced Days Engineering Team Leader to join a well-established food manufacturing site in Banbury.
This is a hands-on leadership role, split between practical engineering work and office-based responsibilities, supporting the engineering team to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production.
Lead and support a team of engineers on days Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to breakdowns Provide hands-on mechanical and/or electrical maintenance support Plan and prioritise daily engineering activities Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and engineering standards Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives Complete reports, maintenance records, and shift handovers Requirements: Proven experience as a Team Leader / Senior Engineer within food manufacturing or FMCG Strong mechanical or electrical background (dual-skilled advantageous) Experience with PPM systems and breakdown diagnostics Recognised engineering qualification xkybehq (e.g.
