The Production Engineering Specialist is a vital role in ensuring our products are delivered to a high standard and in line with our customers' requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Wiring, assembly and testing of production equipment in line with project requirements.
- Cleaning, processing, and logging of equipment returns and RMAs.
- Providing cover for goods in/out during annual leave.
- Calibration and building of radar units.
- Supporting development with prototype builds.
- Fault finding and repair of equipment.
- Report to the Production Manager.
Qualifications:
- Experience of mechanical assembly, wiring/soldering/crimping and cable assembly.
- Electronics testing and assembly to board level.
- Good general IT skills, including use of MS Office programs.
- Ability to work to tight timescales and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills; ability to follow work instructions, drawings and diagrams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail.
- English language proficiency.
