The Role/Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and Confident Bridal fitter and alterations seamstress to be based at the Jenny Packham Flagship Boudoir in Mayfair. This role requires someone who excels in their profession but can also engage with clients, ensuring they feel at ease. Your primary focus will be on ready-to-wear garments, and you must also possess deep knowledge of Bridal wear and be able to alter and fit bridal wear to a very high standard.
What you will be doing:
- Be experienced in the fitting and alteration of luxury evening and wedding gowns to a very high standard.
- To be able to handle a variety of fabrics.
- The ability to construct and alter corsetry.
- To be able to execute beadwork and hand work neatly and to a high standard.
- Manage to execute the workload within the required timeframe and to keep calm and focused under pressure.
- Diary management.
- Be able to advise Brides on accessory purchases.
- Have the ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Work closely with clients, using excellent communication skills to create a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
- Be flexible with working days, particularly for Saturdays depending on the workload.
- The candidate should be available to work Saturdays as required.
