Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are currently recruiting Clinical Trial Assistants for our client in the Swansea area. This is a great opportunity to join a growing clinical research team at an exciting stage of expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Support preparation of clinical trial documentation and study activities
- Recruit, onboard, and maintain communication with trial participants
- Conduct informed consent (training provided)
- Schedule and coordinate participant appointments and trial visits
- Support delivery of protocol-led procedures (e.g. treatments, photography, skin measurements)
- Monitor participant wellbeing and escalate any adverse events or concerns
- Accurately complete Case Report Forms (CRFs) and maintain trial data
- Ensure adherence to study procedures and maintain confidentiality
- Support inventory and clinical supplies management
- Assist with SOP updates and continuous improvement activities
Essential Requirements
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a professional manner
- Comfortable working with people in a clinical/participant-facing environment
- Ability to put participants and trialists at ease
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Reliable, proactive, and willing to learn
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)
Desirable Requirements
- 1-3 years in clinical research or a related field
- Previous experience with clinical trial documentation or administration preferred
- Familiarity with GCP guidelines, ICH regulations and regulatory submission processes
Hours of Work (Hybrid Working)
- Standard hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
- Flexible options: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am-4:30pm, Friday, 7:30am-12:30pm
- Trial Weeks (On-site Required) Shift patterns: 7:00am-1:30pm or 1:00pm-8:00pm
- Work from home available after meeting with participants
Office Attendance Requirement
- Full office attendance required during training period
- Full office attendance required during trial weeks
