Van Multi Drop Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage time effectively. As a Van Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and that our customers receive their deliveries on time.

Duties

• Operate Vans in a safe and responsible manner while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Perform deliveries of goods to designated locations, ensuring that all items are securely loaded and unloaded.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Assist with loading and unloading pallets.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to safety and transport.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar commercial driving role.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving.
• Ability to operate curtain side vehicles safely and efficiently is highly desirable.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
