Salary: £45,000

Due to the fast growth, expanding customer profile and continuous drive for improvement, our client is looking for an experienced and passionate Compliance Manager to drive forward the Compliance of the business to the highest of levels of Food Safety and Health & Safety. The role could also incorporate aspects of sustainability and Facilities Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the internal Food Safety culture in line with BRCGS processes and standards.
  • Implement, manage and continually improve internal Health & Safety processes and procedures.
  • Roll out compliance processes across multiple regional operations.
  • Liaise regularly with Food Safety and H&S consultants or advisors.
  • Own and resolve all customer interactions related to Food Safety and H&S.
  • Manage supplier and external interactions concerning Food Safety and H&S requirements.
  • Ensure full legal compliance regarding any near misses, complaints or incidents in Food Safety or H&S.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge and experience in wholesale and distribution.
  • Extensive Food Safety expertise, including direct BRCGS experience.
  • Confident and experienced in H&S compliance within Warehousing & Distribution.
  • Proven experience in implementing processes and procedures.
  • Recognised Food Safety and H&S qualifications and training.
  • Team player with proven leadership and management experience.
