Corporate Receptionist
We’re looking for an experienced Corporate Receptionist / Front of House professional to join a large, high-profile corporate environment where delivering an exceptional first impression is absolutely key.
This is a busy, high-volume reception operation, welcoming around 1,000 visitors across the building in a typical day, so we’re looking for someone who is confident, polished and able to remain calm and professional while working at pace.
You’ll be part of a dynamic reception team and will be responsible getting to know multiple floors, its requirements and the different responsibilities associated with each location.
About the role
As a Corporate Receptionist, you will:
- Meet and greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner, ensuring they are well looked after throughout their time in the office.
- Provide a consistently high level of service.
- Work as part of a busy and collaborative Reception and Hospitality team.
- Manage on-the-day meeting room bookings using the Condeco meeting room booking system.
- Liaise with the Hospitality team regarding any changes to catering requirements or bookings.
- Arrange domestic and international courier bookings.
- Ensure clear communication between Reception, Hospitality and Reservations teams regarding meeting rooms, hospitality requirements and internal events.
- Ensure all visitors sign in correctly and are issued with the appropriate visitor pass.
- Maintain accurate visitor records and monitor temporary passes, ensuring these are returned or deactivated when required.
- Liaise with the Front of House Coordinator regarding visitor and pass requirements.
- Maintain close communication with the Facilities/CRES team and report any issues promptly.
- Complete weekly temporary and event pass audits when working on the ground floor.
- Take photographs of new starters for access passes and forward these to the Front of House Coordinator.
- Ensure all reception areas are maintained to a consistently high standard, liaising with cleaning teams where required.
- Assist the Hospitality team with resetting client meeting rooms after meetings.
- Provide switchboard cover, answering calls for the wider business and ensuring they are directed to the correct teams.
- Follow company policies and procedures and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
- Be flexible and willing to assist with additional tasks when required.
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance, ensuring uniform and presentation are always to a high standard.
- Undertake Fire Marshal training, with the opportunity to become a First Aider.

You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a corporate reception, front of house or similar client-facing role.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong administrative experience and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written English.
- A professional and confident telephone manner.
- The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask in a busy environment.
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience within the service, hospitality or corporate environment would be highly desirable.
- Full right to work in the UK.
