Our client requires a Quality Engineer to join their team on a full time permanent basis. This role will be varied and you will play a significant role in maintaining and improving our AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 systems and making sure customer’s requirements and safety regulation are met.

Your duties will include:

  • Planning, executing and documenting audits including process, product and compliance audits.
  • Developing and justifying strong corrective actions to eliminate recurring problems.
  • Maintaining and improving product control limits and test specifications.
  • Supporting customers in their complaint investigations and implementing actions that will ultimately help the customer.
  • Carrying out and supporting routine laboratory testing of manufactured materials and incoming goods.
  • Developing new test methods and improving existing procedures ensuring they align with QMS requirements.
  • Taking part in or leading quality improvement projects and providing support within the team by also helping to train individuals.

Skills

  • Strong working knowledge of AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015.
  • Very good computer knowledge.
  • Internal auditor qualifications.
  • Knowledge of composite manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with PFMEA, SPC and risk based quality tools.

This position is full time Monday – Friday 8am til 4:30pm but flexibility is needed for some projects.
