Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to transport goods, equipment, or personnel to designated locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure a safe driving experience for all passengers and pedestrians.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the proper functioning of the vehicle and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the assigned vehicle, including regular interior and exterior cleaning.
- Communicate effectively with the bakery manager and other team members to coordinate schedules, pickups, and deliveries.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance activities.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a driver preferred, but not required.
- Excellent driving skills with a strong focus on safety.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work additional hours or cover holidays as needed is compulsory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and loading/unloading cargo is required.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
Working Hours
12 (midnight) until 9/9.30 am
available to work three days per week (Thursday, Friday and Saturdays)
