About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Medicine Counter Assistant to join our busy Pharmacy team on a fixed-term basis for approximately three months.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing outstanding customer service to all pharmacy customers.
- Assisting customers with over-the-counter medicines and healthcare products within the scope of your training.
- Referring customers to the Pharmacist when appropriate.
- Processing sales using the till system.
- Replenishing stock and maintaining attractive displays.
- Ensuring the pharmacy is kept clean, tidy and well organised.
- Receiving and checking deliveries.
- Assisting with general day-to-day pharmacy duties.
- Maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Is friendly, approachable and professional.
- Works well as part of a team.
- Is organised with good attention to detail.
- Is reliable and able to work in a busy environment.
- Is willing to learn and follow pharmacy procedures.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare environment.
- Previous retail or customer service experience.
Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
