The Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Home Delivery Driver to join our team.

You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers’ homes while representing the company with professionalism and excellent customer service.

The role involves driving, handling deliveries, and navigating various routes with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers' residences.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of products as per the daily delivery schedule.
  • Load, unload, and organise packages or goods in the delivery vehicle.
  • Perform routine checks on the delivery vehicle (e. g., fuel, tyre pressure, etc.).
  • Follow assigned routes and use GPS or other navigation tools for efficient delivery.
  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery times and any delivery-related issues.
  • Handle deliveries with care to ensure all packages remain intact and undamaged.
  • Collect and record payments or confirmations when required.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address any customer queries or concerns.
  • Adhere to traffic laws and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Report any incidents, accidents, or delivery issues to management promptly.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
  • Prior experience in delivery driving or a similar role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with local roads and routes is an advantage.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy packages (up to 50 lbs).
  • Strong time-management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
