Small local private Physiotherapy clinic in Penwortham, Preston area of Lancashire.
Compassionate care, functional movement and general wellbeing are the focus ethos of the clinic.
Treating a variety of ages and ailments across a wide sector of patients.
Relaxed and calm clinic environment to enjoy your work with full mentoring support available as needed. We have team meetings in the local deli and cafe, and a relaxed nature of work based on trust and wellbeing of all my staff.
Role Description
Part-time (self-employed role) for MSK Physiotherapist.
We are looking for an experienced or new grad Physiotherapist or Sports Therapist, ideally based in the North West or local area, as this work is only part time hours at present.
The therapist will be responsible for assessing patients, diagnosing problems, prescribing appropriate treatments and creating rehab plans accordingly, along with liaising with me on any issues that may arise. The role also includes educating patients about maintaining their health, wellbeing and movement positively.
We also collaborate with a Movement and Wellbeing Centre providing Reformer Pilates, Yoga, Massage and wellness treatments.
121 mentoring and support are available and encouraged to provide ongoing development along with shared CPD sessions with my team, including Physios, Massage Therapist, Physio assistants and Pilates Instructor.
Qualifications
- Compassionate and caring individual with good people skills
- Willingness to share, learn and develop
- Understanding of human anatomy, movement and function
- Proficiency in performing patient assessments and diagnoses
- Experience in creating and implementing treatments and plans
- Hands-on skills for manual therapy, soft tissue release/massage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, fellow therapists and myself.
- Ability to work independently and communicate within a team
- Relevant professional qualification in Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy or Sports Rehab
- Current registration with an appropriate professional body
Hours
Currently, around 10 hours are available and can be flexible to suit individual needs and split across days/evenings, etc.
*Help and support will be provided to build practice and patient numbers, along with 121 mentoring.
Pay
On a self-employed basis, as a percentage of each consultation.
