JEMIN LIMITED is a London-registered fashion + technology eyewear brand, dedicated to redefining wearable accessories. Our debut Pearl Ocean Series blends jewellery-grade aesthetics with precise craftsmanship, featuring a signature pearl-shell eyewear case.
Jemin offers designers a unique opportunity to contribute creatively and help shape the identity of a new global eyewear brand. Working between London, Shanghai and Hong Kong, Jemin collaborates with innovative designers and high-end manufacturers to create products that combine artistry, functionality and cutting-edge style.
Role Description
This is a contract role for an Eyewear & Accessory Designer at JEMIN. You will contribute to the design and development of our debut Pearl Ocean Series, translating conceptual inspirations into production-ready designs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating concept/mood boards
- Sketching design ideas
- Developing 3D CAD models (Rhino, etc.)
- Collaborating with manufacturers to support prototyping and craftsmanship precision
This hybrid role is based in London, with flexibility for remote collaboration.
We are also open to contract collaborations with website designers (Shopify / Squarespace / Webflow/β¦) to support our brand launch.
Qualifications
Some experience (internships, projects, or professional work) in eyewear and/or jewellery design β ideally within high-end or innovative brands
Proficiency in Rhino 3D, CAD or related design software
Understanding of materials such as acetate, metals, and luxury finishes
Exposure to the design-to-production process (factory liaison, prototyping)
Keen eye for luxury brand aesthetics and emerging trends
Strong creative problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Degree in Design, Fashion Accessories, Industrial Design, or related field preferred β strong portfolios will also be considered
