Carry out high-quality SMART repairs and vehicle preparation to manufacturer and Bodyshop standards.
- Prepare panels and vehicle parts for refinish, including masking, sanding, and use of hand and power tools.
- Inspect and diagnose routine and non-routine cosmetic defects, ensuring right-first-time repairs.
- Accurately manage colour matching and maintain colour database records.
- Work in line with Bodyshop and dealership Health & Safety requirements.
- Maintain Bodyshop equipment, reporting faults or defects promptly.
- Build strong customer rapport, explain work carried out, and process payments and invoices when required.
- Attend specialist training and product knowledge sessions as required.
Proven experience as a SMART Repair Technician within a Bodyshop environment.
- Strong attention to detail with pride in high-quality finishes.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while minimising material waste.
- Confident using workshop equipment and IT systems.
- Customer-focused with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
