Due to continued success and growth, JEM Property Services are now looking for a Newly Qualified Electrician to join our team in Portsmouth. You will need to provide proof of your electrical qualifications and work history to be considered for the position.
About the Role
What will I be responsible for? At JEM Property Services, we specialize in delivering high quality, reliable reactive repairs, after sales services and maintenance as well as total plumbing, central heating & total re-wiring projects to homes across the South of England. As our Electrician, you will join a small team of electricians and assist with installation works, maintenance operations on various systems, equipment, and appliances, including both single-phase and three-phase systems, lighting, and alarm systems.
Requirements
Could this be the ideal role for me? As our ideal Electrician, you will need an appropriate professional (or trade) accreditation (e.g., Level 3 City & Guilds 2230 or equivalent apprenticeship, 18th Edition of IEE regulations). In addition to these qualifications, you will also have the following skills and experience:
- Practical knowledge and experience of electrical maintenance, including power supplies, lighting and alarm systems, motors, controls, and portable appliances.
- Experience with single-phase and three-phase systems is equally important.
- Hold a current driving licence.
- Hold a current and in date ECS card.
- Provide professional assessments and advice for customers.
- City and Guilds level 2 & 3 Electrical installations.
- To be an Electrical Tester, you will need to hold City & Guilds 2391.
- Up to date with current standard BS7671, 18th Edition BS7671.
