In Wantage, this lovely Nursery is seeking an experienced Nursery Deputy Manager supporting the management team in the day-to-day running of the setting. Based on 40 hours a week, but the client can be flexible, i.e. 4 full days or reduced hours, salary is approximately £35k depending on experience and working hours.

Requirements

  • A minimum Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant)
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience leading or supporting a team in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Experience of being in a management role, supporting the nursery in the absence of the Manager
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding practices
  • Support and supervise staff while delivering high-quality care and education across the nursery setting.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures within the setting
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff in the nursery setting
