Our clients lovely Nursery in Winnersh are looking for an experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to join the team in supporting the daily running of the nursery. This role is initially a maternity cover post working a 40 hr week with salary c33k plus great benefits.

Qualifications:
  • Have a minimum Level 3 Qualification or equivalent in Early Years / Childcare.
  • At least 3 years experience of working within a day nursery.
  • Experience of a management role in leading and supporting a team.
  • Understanding of the Ofsted Requirements and up to date knowledge of all changes in Ofsted or the Curriculum.
  • A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to providing the best start in life.
  • A solid understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum.
  • Form bonds with children and their families ensuring each child feels secure and supported.
  • Team Player with excellent communication skills, the ability to give and receive feedback and a positive proactive approach.
  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.
