About our Clients
Based in Hitchin, our clients' 100 plus place setting are now looking for an experienced room leader to support their busy Toddler Room. A 40 hour week, Monday to Friday with great benefits, onsite parking and good transport links. If you’re passionate about early years education and want to be part of a team where everyone matters, JEM Childcare would love to hear from you and support you on your journey.
Requirements
- Have a minimum Level 3 Qualification or equivalent in Early Years / Childcare.
- Experience of leading and supporting a team and working at a management level.
- A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to providing the best start in life.
- A solid understanding of child development, the Birth to 5 Matters framework, and the EYFS curriculum.
- Form bonds with children and their families, ensuring each child feels secure and supported.
- Team player with excellent communication skills, the ability to give and receive feedback, and a positive, proactive approach.
- Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.
- Assume key carer responsibilities for designated children.
