At Wendover Day Nursery, we are recruiting for a Nursery Kitchen Assistant to join our team, working with our Chef, from Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm. Salary is approximately £13k, depending on experience. Our nursery is large and prepares food for up to 90 children. We are looking for a candidate who can support in the kitchen with duties such as prep, serving food, clearing, and cleaning, along with any additional duties the Chef may have. The candidate should be able to step into the Chef\’s role to cover holidays and absences. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in a similar role within a nursery or school.

Our purpose-built 101-place nursery features a bespoke sensory room, drama and art studios, and offers ample secure outdoor space with countryside views. Requirements

  • Experience working with children under 5 is preferred.
  • Knowledge of children\’s dietary needs and food intolerances.
  • Experience in a similar nursery or school role is ideal.
