About our Clients Near Chertsey, our clients, a very established Nursery, are looking for a senior practitioner for a room-based Deputy Manager role - initially a maternity cover post. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of this growing provider. Working 40 hours, this role is offering a salary of approximately £39,900 plus great benefits, onsite parking, and good transport links.

Requirements:
  • Have a minimum Level 3 Qualification or equivalent in Early Years / Childcare.
  • At least 3 years experience of working within a day nursery.
  • Experience of a management role in leading and supporting teams.
  • Understanding of the Ofsted Requirements and up-to-date knowledge of all changes in Ofsted or the Curriculum.
  • A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to providing the best start in life.
  • A solid understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum.
  • Form bonds with children and their families ensuring each child feels secure and supported.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills, the ability to give and receive feedback, and a positive proactive approach.
  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources, and experiences offered to children.
