At Murrayfield Nursery we are looking for passionate nursery assistants to join our team, working as bank staff on a zero-hour contract supporting us as and when needed. Great salaries offered. The Murrayfield Nursery is part of CC Nurseries and is based in Edinburgh. At our busy 90-place nursery, we offer a home-from-home environment, led by our passionate and caring team. Our nursery is filled with hand-picked resources (natural where possible) to encourage self-directed play and discovery. Outside, we have a large, secure outdoor space including a fire pit, a fish pond and an outdoor classroom, as well as a separate area for the youngest children to enjoy fun.

Requirements
- Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
- Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development.
- Assist with embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor always.
- Work within a team to support all children and team members within your room.
- Understand and ensure that the requirements of the curriculum are being met.
