Our client, a well-established and welcoming day nursery, is seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Deputy Manager to join their team, working alongside the manager in supporting the day-to-day running of the setting. An ideal role for someone looking for the next steps with some experience. 40 Hr working week with salary up to £36k depending on experience. Good transport links and onsite parking.
Requirements
- A minimum Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant)
- A minimum 3 years’ experience leading or supporting a team in a nursery or early years setting
- Has experience of being in a management role, supporting the nursery in the absence of the Manager
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding practices
- Support and supervise staff while delivering high-quality care and education across the nursery setting
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures within the setting
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff in the nursery setting
