About our Clients

Our Client is looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to open and support the growth of their new setting in E16 area. Within walking distance of great transport links, our client is offering a great package salary c£50k depending on experience, working a 40 hour week, with 35 days annual leave including bank holidays.

As the manager you will work alongside our client in supporting the set up and opening of the setting, and then be totally responsible for the full day to day running of the nursery, growing the occupancy and team, together with developing the nursery. The setting is purpose built with high quality resources and in a fantastic location.

Requirements

  • Have a minimum Level 3 Qualification or equivalent in Early Years / Childcare.
  • At least 4 years experience of working within a day nursery.
  • Experience of a management role, in leading and supporting teams.
  • Understanding of the Ofsted Requirements and up to date knowledge of all changes in Ofsted or the Curriculum.
  • A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to providing the best start in life.
  • A solid understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum.
  • Inspirational, passionate and supportive leadership skills.
  • Form bonds with children and their families, ensuring each child feels secure and supported.
  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.
