Our clients in the E16 area are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to join the management team in growing a lovely purpose-built nursery. As part of a new team, you would work alongside the manager in supporting the growth in both occupancy and team within the nursery, supporting where necessary as the nursery develops.
Salary, depending on experience, is up to £39,000 with great benefits including 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays. The nursery is on great transport links and within walking distance from tube stations.

Requirements- Have a minimum Level 3 Qualification or equivalent in Early Years / Childcare.
- At least 3 years experience of working within a day nursery.
- Experience of a management role, in leading and supporting teams.
- Understanding of the Ofsted Requirements and up to date knowledge of all changes in Ofsted or the Curriculum.
- A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to providing the best start in life.
- A solid understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum.
- Form bonds with children and their families, ensuring each child feels secure and supported.
- Team player with excellent communication skills, the ability to give and receive feedback, and a positive, proactive approach.
- Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.
