About our Clients
Based in Leatherhead, our clients, an 80 plus place setting, are looking for an experienced senior practitioner to be Deputy Room Lead of their very busy baby room. Working a 40 hr week over 4 days, the salary is up to £31,500 depending on experience, with excellent benefits offered too. Requirements
- Have a minimum Level 3 Qualification or equivalent in Early Years / Childcare.
- Experience of leading and supporting a team.
- A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to providing the best start in life.
- A solid understanding of child development, the Birth to 5 Matters framework, and the EYFS curriculum.
- Form bonds with children and their families, ensuring each child feels secure and supported.
- Team player with excellent communication skills, the ability to give and receive feedback, and a positive, proactive approach.
- Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources, and experiences offered to children.
- Assume key carer responsibilities for designated children.

Ideally you will have:
- Have at least 2 years previous experience of working in a Day Nursery
- Can inspire, energise and support others
- A genuine passion to make a difference
- Has a genuine passion and excitement to work with children and helping others learn
- Sound knowledge of the latest EYFS framework and regulations
- A firm knowledge of Ofsted standards and requirements
