Our Clients are looking for an experienced senior practitioner for a room-based Deputy Manager role at their small but busy setting in Fleet. This is a maternity cover role at present, although there may be opportunities within the company once the maternity cover ends. The role supports the Toddler Room and works alongside the manager in the day-to-day running of the setting. Suitable candidates may be very experienced Room Leaders or Third in Charge for this role. Working Monday to Friday, salary is circa £30k depending on experience, with fantastic benefits.

Requirements- Minimum Level 3 Qualification or equivalent in Early Years / Childcare.
- At least 3 years experience working within a day nursery.
- Experience in a management role, leading and supporting a team.
- Understanding of Ofsted Requirements and up-to-date knowledge of all changes in Ofsted or the curriculum.
- A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to providing the best start in life.
- Solid understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum.
- Form bonds with children and their families, ensuring each child feels secure and supported.
- Team player with excellent communication skills, the ability to give and receive feedback, and a positive, proactive approach.
- Promote high standards of quality within the nursery, respecting the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.
