An experienced room leader is being sought by our clients in Chessington to support and lead their baby room. Working Monday to Friday 40 hours, our clients are offering a salary of approximately £29k plus depending on experience. Qualifications and Responsibilities- Have a minimum Level 3 Qualification or equivalent in Early Years / Childcare.
- Experience of leading and supporting a team.
- A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to providing the best start in life.
- A solid understanding of child development, the Birth to 5 Matters framework, and the EYFS curriculum.
- Form bonds with children and their families, ensuring each child feels secure and supported.
- Team player with excellent communication skills, the ability to give and receive feedback, and a positive, proactive approach.
- Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.
- Assume key carer responsibilities for designated children.
