Our client, a welcoming day nursery setting, is seeking an experienced Baby Room Leader to join their team, this is a fantastic opportunity to take responsibility for a room within a high-quality early years setting. Based in Streatham Common on great transport links, this is a 40 hr week monday to friday opportunity with salary c£35k depending on experience and qualifications.

Essential for the Nursery Room Leader Role
Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant)
Minimum 1 year’s experience leading a room in a nursery or early years setting
Knowledge of child development, EYFS, and safeguarding
Deliver high-quality care and learning experiences within your room and the wider nursery setting
Ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements
Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues in the nursery setting

Passionate about early years and children’s development within a nursery setting
Strong team leader, able to motivate and support staff in your room
Proactive, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards
Promotes best practice and ensures a safe, nurturing environment across the nursery setting
