Job Description
Reporting to our Head of Earned Media, you will be a leader within Jellyfish\’s Earned Media capability. As a trusted strategic lead on one of our new SEO accounts, you will set the standard for excellence in SEO execution, innovation, and commercial leadership. This includes driving advancements in SEO technology, process efficiency, commercial strategy, and new business growth, as well as championing thought leadership and cross-capability collaboration.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Be the no.1 strategic lead on one of our large-scale SEO accounts, delivering transformational results for high-profile clients.
  • Define and own SEO roadmaps that set a long-term vision for organic search growth, aligning with broader Earned Media and multi-channel strategies.
  • Lead on the most complex SEO challenges, including enterprise technical SEO, AI-driven content automation, and large-scale authority-building strategies.
  • Be a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders, ensuring SEO is positioned as a critical business driver.
  • Pioneer AI and automation initiatives, integrating machine learning and data science into SEO processes. Drive commercial excellence by scoping, structuring, and pricing tailored Statements of Work (SOWs) that ensure profitable, high-quality delivery.
  • Partner with Growth, Client Management, and Finance teams to resolve commercial escalations and maintain financial health across SEO accounts.
  • Drive process efficiency and technology adoption, ensuring Earned Media remains at the forefront of the industry.
  • Lead product development initiatives, creating scalable SEO solutions that enhance delivery and drive new revenue streams.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading global SEO accounts, with a proven track record of delivering organic growth for enterprise clients.
  • Advanced knowledge of technical SEO, structured data, JavaScript frameworks, and site performance optimisation.
  • Expertise in AI-driven SEO automation, data science applications, and SEO-driven business intelligence.
  • Strong understanding of commercial SEO impact, linking organic search performance to business revenue and profitability.
  • High levels of commercial acumen, including scope of work scoping, resourcing, and profitability management.
  • Expertise in new business leadership, including pitch strategy, proposal development, and executive-level SEO consulting.
  • Experience managing and resolving commercial escalations, ensuring smooth operations across Earned Media and Client teams.
