As a Digital PR Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering high-impact earned media strategies that drive SEO success for our clients. You'll support campaigns from concept to execution, crafting compelling stories, securing media placements, and generating high-quality backlinks and brand mentions that improve organic and LLM performance. This role is ideal for an experienced Digital PR professional or a Senior Executive looking for their next step up. You'll have a key role in strategy, client management, and campaign execution, working closely with SEO teams, content creators, and creative teams to ensure digital PR efforts are integrated, data-driven, and results-focused. You'll be expected to think strategically and execute brilliantly, managing multiple campaigns while maintaining the highest standards of creativity, storytelling, and relationship-building with journalists and media outlets.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Leadership & Campaign Management
    • Own and manage Digital PR campaigns from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with SEO and broader marketing strategies.
    • Develop compelling stories and creative campaign ideas that earn media coverage and drive engagement.
    • Build and maintain relationships with journalists to secure high-quality placements.
    • Work closely with SEO & GEO specialists to create targeted outreach strategies that improve organic and LLM search performance.
    • Identify newsjacking and reactive PR opportunities to ensure our clients stay at the forefront of industry conversations.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management
    • Serve as the day‑to‑day lead for key client accounts, ensuring seamless communication, strategy alignment, and campaign execution.
    • Present campaign strategies, progress updates, and results to clients, showcasing the impact of Digital PR on their SEO performance.
    • Support and lead client meetings, calls, and workshops, articulating insights, recommendations, and next steps with confidence.
  • Performance & Reporting
    • Monitor, track, and report on campaign performance, using data to refine and optimise PR strategies.
    • Conduct backlink analysis and competitor benchmarking, working with SEO teams to identify new opportunities.
    • Stay ahead of industry trends, media landscapes, and digital PR best practices, ensuring we deliver cutting‑edge campaigns.
  • Collaboration & Team Development
    • Work cross-functionally with SEO, content, and creative teams to maximise the impact of Digital PR.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, tools, and techniques to enhance the effectiveness of our campaigns.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • 3+ years of experience in Digital PR, with a proven track record of leading campaigns from ideation to delivery.
  • Strong storytelling skills, able to craft narratives that capture media attention.
  • Expertise in media outreach.
  • Understanding of SEO and link-building, and how Digital PR contributes to organic search success.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable leading client meetings and workshops.
  • Strategic thinker and hands‑on doer, able to balance big‑picture vision with execution.
  • Strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple campaigns at once.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with PR tools like MuckRack, SEMrush, and/or Buzzstream.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret SEO performance data to inform PR strategies.
  • Experience in international or multi‑market PR campaigns.
  • Experience in digital PR activity for auto, insurance, tech or SME clients.
