You will work closely with six Regional Controllers and the wider Group Finance team to ensure accurate, timely and well-supported group reporting across a complex, multi-entity environment. Your primary responsibilities will be:
- Take ownership of the month-end close for two central entities, reviewing and validating the P&L, balance sheet, working capital and intercompany positions before sign-off.
- Investigate and explain unusual movements, reconciliations, variances and exceptions, identifying root causes and ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Prepare and coordinate close deliverables across the reporting cycle, including close trackers, reporting timetables, reconciliations, flux analysis, balance sheet reviews, revenue and payroll checks, and post-close reporting packs.
- Work closely with Regional Financial Controllers and the Group Financial Controller to coordinate group reporting inputs, maintain close discipline, and ensure consistency across entities and regions.
- Review the work of an Accountant, providing direction, quality control, coaching and support.
- Be the administrator for FloQast, overseeing user access, system configuration, and the effective operation of reconciliation and close management modules.
- Support finance transformation initiatives and continuous improvements to deliver process standardisation and simplification.
Qualifications:
- Qualified or part-qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA or CIMA).

- Experience with intercompany reconciliations in a group structure, including resolving mismatches across entities or stakeholders.
- Ability to explain financial issues clearly and concisely to both finance and non-finance stakeholders across all levels of the organisation in a multinational, matrix-structured organisation.
- Familiarity with finance systems, ideally FloQast, Sage or NetSuite.
- Interest in leading and developing an accounting professional, including setting clear objectives, providing direction and support, and monitoring their progress.
- Strong planning and organisational skills to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- When faced with a problem, good at adapting strategies and plans, evaluating different options to find practical solutions.
- Commitment to ethical behaviour, with adherence to company policies and relevant financial regulations.
