Roles & Responsibilities
Providing strategic tax input on key business decisions, including crossâborder structuring and commercial proposals.
Leading on preparation and readiness for Pillar 2 and CbCR requirements with support from the Group Finance team.
Collaborating with key stakeholders (Finance, Legal, Sales) on crossâfunctional projects and acting as the main tax point of contact, with interaction with Senior Leadership when appropriate.
Managing interactions with tax authorities on direct tax matters.
Reviewing, implementing, and maintaining appropriate global transferâpricing policies and documentation with support from external advisers.
Developing and implementing the directâtax strategy in line with business objectives and strategy.
Designing and executing directâtax controls and processes to support and build on the global tax strategy.
Designing and implementing directâtax guidance on business activities to help support the business with respect to taxes.
Managing relationships with external advisers.
Building and maintaining strong, trusting relationships with internal business partners and key stakeholders.
Driving automation and efficiency efforts on current tax processes while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Advising regional Finance teams on local incomeâtax compliance and reporting obligations.
Overseeing external outsourcing relationships.
Supporting the Finance and IT teams with tax input into Finance Transformation projects.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
7+ years of relevant tax experience with strong knowledge of UK tax laws and broad international tax experience.
Mixture of professional services (Big 4 preferred) or legal firm and industry experience at a multinational organisation.
Qualified Chartered Tax Advisor or similar taxâfocused qualification.
Ability to work effectively in a fastâpaced environment with a sense of urgency and efficient execution.
Strong analytical skills to develop independent views on complex problems.
Excellent timeâmanagement and organisational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
Desirable Qualifications
Proficiency in finance and tax software, including experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
