We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager to lead AR operations across all revenue channels. This is a high-impact role in a growing, design-led business—ideal for someone with a strong accounting background and hands-on AR leadership experience.
You’ll lead a small team, oversee AR accounting and controls, and drive process improvement. You will work closely with our Credit Control team, who lead on collections and customer risk, ensuring a smooth and collaborative Order-to-Cash (O2C) operation.
You\’ll be;
AR Leadership & Controls
- Owning AR operations across ecommerce, wholesale, and retail.
- Ensuring timely, accurate invoicing, cash application, and revenue alignment.
- Overseeing AR controls, reconciliations, credit notes, and audit readiness.
- Maintaining and govern customer master data in ERP (D365).
Team & Collaboration
- Managing and developing the AR team.
- Partnering closely with Credit Control, Sales Ops, and Commercial teams to deliver smooth end-to-end O2C.
Reconciliations & Policy
- Leading AR-related month-end close tasks, journals, and reconciliations.
- Defining and apply AR accounting policies (bad debt, rebates, IFRS 15).
- Providing clear, accurate reporting to finance leadership.
Systems & Continuous Improvement
- Supporting ERP (D365) developments and testing.
- Building scalable AR processes for future growth and new markets.
- Identifying and implement improvements to workflows, controls, and data integrity.
Audit & Compliance
- Maintaining audit-ready documentation and ensure strong internal controls.
- Supporting internal and external audit deliverables and ensure audit-ready documentation.
You\’ll have;
- Experience as a qualified accountant with AR leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of O2C and how AR fits within the broader process.
- Excellent reconciliation and data handling skills; advanced Excel.
- ERP experience—ideally D365—with high-volume wholesale and ecommerce exposure.
- Strong sense of ownership and drive for continuous improvement.
- An ownership mindset with a strong eye for process improvement and scalable controls.
- The ability to be a confident communicator with strong stakeholder management.
