An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an expanding manufacturing organisation based in Leek, Staffordshire. The company is currently upgrading its facilities with new machinery and site infrastructure. You will operate within a high-speed production environment, managing a diverse range of breakdown repairs, planned maintenance and site optimisation projects. This position suits a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with a career background in food production or manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities of this Maintenance Engineer role:

  • Troubleshooting urgent electrical and mechanical faults to keep production lines running.
  • Carrying out scheduled PPM tasks on production and packing lines.
  • Assisting with the setup, testing and integration of new production machinery.
  • Strict adherence to food safety codes and sanitary production guidelines.

Requirements for this Maintenance Engineer role:

  • Minimum Level 3 technical qualification in an engineering discipline (required).
  • Background maintaining automated machinery within food production or manufacturing sectors.
  • Excellent fault finding capabilities across both mechanical and electrical components.
  • Basic understanding of PLC systems (preferred).
