Jelly Technical is recruiting on behalf of a leading food manufacturer for a Night Hygiene Manager to join a fast-paced production site within a well-established and growing business supplying major UK retailers.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Hygiene Manager or Supervisor ready to step up, to take ownership of a night hygiene function within a business that values high standards, team development and continuous improvement. As a Hygiene Manager your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead, organise and manage the Night Hygiene Team to ensure all cleaning schedules are completed to required standards
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards including HACCP, COSHH and internal quality procedures
  • Carry out audits and end-of-shift checks to ensure the site is ready for production
  • Manage hygiene budgets and control stock levels of cleaning materials and PPE
  • Work closely with engineering to support maintenance and minimise disruption to hygiene schedules
  • Lead, coach and develop the hygiene team, addressing performance, training and engagement
  • Take ownership of recruitment and on-boarding within the hygiene team
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive hygiene standards and food safety culture across site

Experience within a food manufacturing environment (minimum 3 years preferred)

Proven experience leading or supervising hygiene teams

Relevant qualifications (Level 3 Food Safety, IOSH or equivalent desirable)

Salary up to £44,750 plus bonus scheme
