Jelly Technical are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a long-established manufacturing business with over a century of industry expertise and a reputation for producing world-class, premium products. The site combines heavy-duty industrial machinery with automated technology, backed by a strong commitment to continuous site investment.
Not only will you complete day to day engineering tasks such as attending breakdowns and PPM's, you will have the opportunity to work on major capital project installations and improve plant reliability.
Role and responsibilities of this Maintenance Engineer role:
- Respond swiftly to critical plant breakdowns to deliver effective solutions and repairs.
- Utilise Root Cause Analysis techniques to identify and address recurring technical issues.
- Share technical knowledge and handover details with engineers on alternative shifts.
- Maintain complete and accurate data logs within the CMMS.
- Adhere strictly to all site Health and Safety protocols, hygiene regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with production and the engineering shift lead regarding daily workloads.
Experience needed for this Maintenance Engineer role:
- Apprentice trained or time served - multi skilled.
- Background as a maintenance engineer, electrical engineer or industrial electrician.
- Proven experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
- Solid awareness and practical understanding of industrial Health & Safety standards.
- Adaptable and flexible approach to business demands and seasonal fluctuations.
