Jelly Technical are supporting a leader within the Food Manufacturing space and are seeking an experienced Hygiene Manager to join their team. With hygiene being at the forefront of food production, we are seeking an individual who is confident in effectively managing the Hygiene Department and is capable of implementing and improving procedures to achieve standards of cleanliness whilst also being responsible for the waste and recycling side of the business.
Job Profile:
- Management of the Hygiene Department and Waste/Recycling team
- Ensuring hygiene tasks are completed safely and ensuring that all machinery and equipment used throughout production is deep cleaned to assigned schedules
- Maintenance of cleaning procedures and contributing to continuous improvement
- Participation throughout the duration of both internal and external audits
- Responsible for creation, maintenance and document controlling of all Hygiene/Waste/Recycling documentation
Job Requirements:
- Experience working in a Hygiene Manager/Supervisor position within Food Manufacturing environment
- Natural leader with previous experience in people management
- Proven experience with cleaning audits, working compliance standard and GMP
- Confident in managing medium to large teams in a fast paced and continuously changing work environment
- Knowledgeable in Food Safety, Health & Safety, COSHH and HACCP requirements
