A well-established multi-site food manufacturer is looking to appoint a HR & Recruitment Advisor to join the HR team to support their people centric culture, attract top talent and manage the end to end recruitment process.

The Role

Key responsibilities include

  • Hiring: Run recruitment campaigns for all job types, from factory floor staff up to technical and office-based roles.
  • Onboarding: Conduct phone screens, interview candidates and manage the full onboarding process for new starters.
  • Staff Retention: Work with the HR team to create long-term plans for staff wellbeing, engagement and team motivation.
  • Compliance: Make sure all hiring follows UK employment laws, including GDPR, Right to Work visas and Modern Slavery checks.
  • Tracking & Social Media: Run the company's job-related social media pages and track monthly hiring data and costs.
  • Local Networks: Build relationships with local job centres, schools and colleges to promote the company as a great place to work.

About You

  • Fast-Paced Recruitment: Proven experience managing high-volume hiring, ideally within the food / FMCG industry or a similar fast-moving sector.
  • Legal Knowledge: A solid understanding of UK recruitment legislation, worker rights, and right-to-work laws.
  • People Skills: The ability to communicate easily with people at all levels of the business, from factory workers to senior managers.
  • Organised: Great time management skills and experience using in-house HR software or applicant tracking systems (ATS).
