We have a fantastic opportunity for a Scheduler to join our team!

In this role you will be responsible for the accurate and timely coordination and management of schedules, with technical requirements for projects related to screens, doors, and doorsets.

As a Scheduler at JELD-WEN, you will ensure relevant design changes and technical compliance within a contract is captured, and the customer is kept updated. Additionally, the Scheduler is responsible for updating production data in the company\’s IT system to maintain efficiency and adherence to schedules.

This role will suit an individual who has previous Doors/Door set or Ironmongery experience, having worked within the building and construction industry either directly or for a supplier.

You will be keen to work onsite, alongside our internal teams, collaborating closely with internal teams and customers to meet contract requirements within agreed timescales.

What your impact will be:

  • AnalyseArchitect schedules and drawings to include specifications L20 & P21 and prepare detailed, co-ordinated screen, door, and ironmongery schedules.
  • Ensure relevant design changes, technical compliance within a contract is captured, and inform relevant line management personnel of these design changes.
  • Close liaison with the production team for timely administration of production data.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and customers to ensure that all technical requirements for customer orders are finalised and agreed.
  • Ensuring the relevant information is available for weekly internal / external co-ordination meetings reporting thus to ensure workload is shared and administrated as per contract required timescales.

What you\’ll need to succeed:

  • Previous experience of relevant building regulations, products, enquiries, orders & scheduling preferred.
  • Previous experience of the building industry would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience of working directly with customers.
  • Excellent IT skills for analysis and a good working knowledge of Excel would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience of working within specific guidelines and to set timescales and deadlines.
  • Previous experience with Salesforce preferred.
