Are you looking for new opportunities and have experience of administration in a manufacturing or production supply chain environment? Then you might be our new Dispatch Load Planner at JELD-WEN, Penrith. This role will be focused on providing administrative support for all Dispatch Warehouse Functions, communicating effectively, and building effective working relationships with company suppliers & customers. You will be IT literate with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft software and IT platforms with the ability to work as part of a team and complete daily tasks effectively and efficiently.
We offer onsite working from our state-of-the-art Penrith facility, working a 2-shift rotating pattern (earlies 6am-2pm and lates 2pm-10pm) a competitive salary, 25 days holiday, up to 7.5% pension, medicash health plan, salary sacrifice schemes and much more.
What your impact will be:
- Prepare daily bar code sheets for the tally line.
- Prepare daily pick sheets for both the tally line and the picker.
- Book and control both entry and exit of delivery vehicles via the barrier at the factory back gate.
- Prepare the delivery notes daily.
- Control via the tally sheets the booking of production to stock.
- Communicate with external haulage contractors.
- Raise invoices and delivery notes daily for all deliveries.
- Check warehouse stock and adjust a minimum of twice per financial month.
- Prepare the sheets used on the SQDCIP Board.
- Prepare and participate in stock takes at management's discretion.
- Manual allocation of stock to picked loads.
- Communicate delivery advice to customers using email or telephone.
- Check proof of deliveries ensuring they are scanned into Synergy.
- Assist the Dispatch VSM with Cover of administrative duties in their absence.
- Work closely with our customers and assist with any requests.
- Support Purchasing and Planning with administrative duties.
- Support with Booking in Raw Material Deliveries via email & telephone.
- Support with generation of relevant documentation which is to be issued to Suppliers.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Previous Administration experience is essential in a manufacturing or production supply chain environment would be an advantage.
- Must be IT literate with a strong working knowledge of regular software and IT platforms.
- Ability to work unsupervised and complete daily tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Previous manufacturing process knowledge is an advantage.
- Flexible, with a positive and proactive attitude with a desire to succeed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can confidently work effectively individually & as part of a team.
- Flexible approach towards shifts, able to work 2-rotating shift pattern (earlies 6am-2pm and lates 2pm-10pm).
