Here at JELD-WEN Europe, a global organisation that produces and manufacturers Doors and Doorsets, weβre looking for a Commercial Finance Lead for the UK and France.
This pivotal role will drive the strategic financial decision-making and support commercial growth initiatives across the business. You will act as a key business partner to our commercial teams in the UK and France, providing financial insight, analysis, and guidance to optimise revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency.
The role is responsible for leading commercial forecasting, supporting effective pricing decisions and controls, commercial performance reporting, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and market dynamics. Championing data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement in financial processes to support sustainable business growth.
You will be responsible for managing our UK Pricing Analyst; therefore, we are looking for you to have strong leadership and team management skills. French language skills are desirable, but not essential but you must be flexible to travel to between our UK, Sheffield and Penrith sites and our France, Eauze and Ussel sites.

What your impact will be:
- Embed robust commercial insights into the S&OP process to support informed decision-making and drive improved business performance.
- Lead and continuously enhance the commercial budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring key variances (e.g., volume, price, mix, inflation) are clearly understood and providing value-added analysis to support performance improvement.
- Deliver strategic financial guidance and insights to Commercial, Product Management, and R&D teams to support growth and optimise commercial performance.
- Foster strong partnerships with Commercial and Country FP&A teams, championing a culture of financial ownership, accountability, and transparency.
- Produce and validate high-quality financial reporting and analytics to support variance analysis and deliver actionable insights across the organisation.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of core financial responsibilities, including period close, SOX compliance, statutory reporting, and year-end audit processes.
What you\’ll need to succeed:
- Qualified or in final stages of a recognised Finance qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA) or equivalent.
- Experience in a business partnering role, preferably within a manufacturing or similar industry.
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable with big data sets and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in financial software and tools, preferably OneStream / HFM and BI systems (Power Bi / Tableau).
- Good relationship management and influencing skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Make sense of complex, high quantity and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
- Continually looking to challenge and facilitate a continuous improvement culture.
- Happy to work on a hybrid basis with onsite attendance in Sheffield required.
- Flexible to travel, with monthly/bi-monthly travel to France required.
