Here at JELD-WEN, a global organisation that produces and manufactures Doors and Doorsets, we’re looking for a HRIS IT Project Manager to join our European team on a fixed term contract or contract/consultancy basis.
This is a remote, home-based role, you could be located in the UK or France, you will be fluent in English and French, and there will be some ad hoc travel required to some of our JELD-WEN European sites.
You will be an experienced IT Project Manager with experience in HRIS/T&A/UKG Pro WFM/Kronos, able to deliver multiple, concurrent projects across diverse European locations. You will focus on IT-led initiatives with broad scope, including infrastructure, applications, business processes, system integrations, and platform consolidations.
Working closely with European IT Operations, Infrastructure, Applications, and Compliance teams, as well as cross‑functional business stakeholders, you work to an IT PMO Stage Gate process and governance model. You will collaborate closely with the wider HR and IT Project Management Organisation to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment across the portfolio.

What your impact will be:
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to agreed scope.
- Ensure a consistent delivery approach through adherence to the IT PMO Stage Gate and standard project governance frameworks.
- Gather and analyse business requirements, including end‑to‑end process analysis and mapping.
- Develop robust business cases to support investment decisions and demonstrate ROI.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage project resources and dependencies.
- Control scope, risks, issues, changes, quality, and milestone delivery across multiple workstreams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, maintaining clear and effective communication.
- Align project outcomes with business objectives through close engagement with management teams and users.
- Produce clear and accurate project status reports, highlighting progress, risks, and issues.
- Manage external vendors and third‑party partners to ensure successful delivery.
- Ensure effective transition of deliverables into business‑as‑usual operations, including service stabilisation and benefits realisation.
What you\’ll need to succeed:
- Strong track record of delivering IT improvement or transformation programmes.
- Experience leading cross‑functional, multi‑region teams and managing third‑party vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a complex environment.
- Solid financial acumen, including development of business cases.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Experience working in a global and/or manufacturing organisation is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
- PRINCE2, APM, PMP, or equivalent certification.
- Degree level qualification in Project Management, IT, or a related discipline.
- Fluency in English and French.
