Overview

We’re looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team at JELD-WEN, Penrith. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our manufacturing process – ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

You’ll work closely with production, engineering, and technical teams to monitor, test, and improve quality systems. This is your opportunity to help shape the future of quality assurance at JELD-WEN.

What your impact will be

  • Auditing systems based on ISO 9001:2015
  • Defining and tracking quality metrics across manufacturing
  • Monitoring the production cycle and identifying potential issues early
  • Leading process control measures and root cause analysis projects
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers
  • Supporting supplier quality management and conducting audits

What you\\\’ll need to succeed

  • Background in Engineering or Quality Assurance
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools (process mapping, FMEA, RCA, DMAIC, etc.)
  • IT and data analysis skills
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and EHS practices
  • Previous leadership experience is a plus
  • Additional QA certifications are welcomed
