Your role:
- Daily pre-use checks
- Shunt trailers timely & efficiently between locations
- Liaise with Haulers when required
- Work to a loading/unloading schedule
- Seal and secure all loaded trailers within the yard
- Position trailers to allow safe unloading
- Ensure outside bay areas are kept clean and litter free
- Be responsible for basic upkeep of shunter vehicle
- Check lights, tyres and insides of trailers
- Adhere to the company's H&S regulations
What weβre looking for:
- HGV1 Licence holder
- FLT License is desirable but not essential
- Strong commitment to a 'Safety First' culture
- Ability to work independently to a high standard
- Highly motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Excellent team player with strong communication skills
